Alan’s sculpture Bond has been cast in bronze, courtesy of the Greenham Trust, and has been permanently installed outside The Base Arts Centre at Greenham Business Park, Newbury.

Alan died peacefully on 4th March 2020 at his home in Stroud, Gloucestershire. He was 98 years old.
Alan Thornhill’s sculptures have just been re-waxed by Chris Nash of Arch Bronze Foundry, in Putney.
Putney Sculpture Trail comprises nine sculptures by British sculptor, Alan Thornhill, which are permanently on public display along the south side of the River Thames, to either site of Putney Bridge.
Thornhill’s sculptures ‘Summoner’ and ‘Punch and Judy’ are now installed in the walled garden at Museum in the Park, Stroud, Gloucestershire.
